Ukraine is setting up a special long-range strike command and forming a new branch of its armed forces, the Joint Rapid Response Forces, to intensify pressure on Russia and improve frontline responsiveness. Brigadier General Dmytro Voloshyn has been appointed to lead the new rapid-response formation.
