Zelensky Confirms Flamingo Missile Strikes Deep in Russian Territory

President Volodymyr Zelensky confirmed on Saturday, Aug. 15, that Ukrainian forces used “Flamingo” missiles to strike the Progress Space Rocket Centre in Russia’s Samara region, 900 kilometers from the border. He also confirmed long-range attacks on the Savasleyka airfield, which hosts Russian missile carriers, and an oil facility in Ust-Luga. The confirmation follows earlier reports of explosions at the Samara aerospace industrial zone and drone activity in occupied Crimea.
