YSRCP demands immediate reinstatement of suspended teachers

The YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) Employees’ Wing State president N. Chandrasekhar Reddy on Sunday (August 16, 2026) demanded the immediate withdrawal of the suspension orders issued against four teachers who met Union government representatives to seek exemption from the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) for in-service teachers.Speaking to the media, Mr. Chandrasekhar Reddy condemned the action against the teachers and urged the State government to take up the issue with the Centre. He also demanded that the government introduce and pass a resolution in the Assembly seeking exemption from TET for serving teachers and forward it to the Union government for necessary action.“Is meeting a Union Minister to highlight teachers' problems a crime? Is seeking exemption from TET an offence?” he asked.Mr
