Young man and woman killed in Gorton crash named for first time as suspect to appear in court

NewsGreater Manchester NewsGortonThe man and woman were killed in the smash on Hyde Road09:45, 11 Aug 2026A young man and woman who died in a crash on a main road in Gorton have been named for the first time as Jack Cartwright and Natasha Denman.The pair lost their lives in the crash on the A57 Hyde Road on August 5. Emergency services were called to the road, near the junction with Clumber Road, after a car hit a stationary digger at around 9.35pm.Four people were inside the car at the time, a Greater Manchester Police spokesperson said previously.
