Yorkshire Water says customers should try and avoid using hosepipes - despite no official ban

Earlier in the summer, under-fire chief executive Nicola Shaw told The Yorkshire Post: “I absolutely do not expect to have a hosepipe ban in Yorkshire this summer.”
