The New York Yankees should start preparing for life without Giancarlo Stanton. Stanton recently suffered his third calf strain of the season, this time in his left leg while running the bases. The designated hitter initially strained his right calf back in April, and he had a setback a few months ago. It's possible that Stanton could miss the remainder of the season. The Yankees could consider cutting ties with the five-time All-Star before 2027. "The $25 million the Yankees owe Stanton for the next two seasons is within the range that owner Hal Steinbrenner has been willing to absorb to move on from a player," The Athletic's Chris Kirschner wrote.
