Yankees have major Heliot Ramos problem after Giants trade
The New York Yankees didn't do too much at the Major League Baseball trade deadline. In an attempt to upgrade their offense without three of their key stars - Aaron Judge, Giancarlo Stanton, and Cody Bellinger- the Yankees acquired Luis Garcia Jr. from the Washington Nationals and Heliot Ramos from the San Francisco Giants. Garcia has produced for the Yankees, even hitting a homer in his debut with the AL East club. Ramos is struggling with his new club. After his pinch-hit groundout on Thursday against the Seattle Mariners, the 26-year-old All-Star is 4-for-25 with 10 strikeouts in his first eight games with the Yankees. Ramos is not a strong defensive left fielder, so he needs to hit to be a useful everyday player until Bellinger returns. He carries a .701 OPS into Friday's series opener
