Yankees draft Andy Pettitte's son Luke as a 2-way player

Those keeping track of the New York Yankees' picks in the 2026 MLB Draft would've noticed a familiar name in the eighth round: Luke Pettitte.Yep, that's Andy Pettitte's son.Andy, of course, was one of the most clutch pitchers in baseball history during his time in pinstripes.Luke will have a long way to go to follow in his father's footsteps, but his journey has officially begun this weekend.The Yanks used pick No. 248 to take Luke off the board from Dallas Baptist, a Division I school in Texas.Pettitte was listed as a two-way player by the Yankees when they drafted him.
