Officers were called out to the A682 Manchester Road at 9.50pm last night (August 3) following a crash involving a BMW and a Mercedes-Benz.The BMW driver, a man in his 20s, sadly died at the scene. His three passengers and the driver of the Mercedes were all taken to hospital with serious injuries.The A628 remains closed between the A57 Mottram Moor and Old Road in Tintwistle.
