Women suffer more severe neurologic symptoms from long COVID than men, research finds for the first time
New research from Northwestern Medicine showed for the first time that women suffer more severe neurologic symptoms due to long COVID, such as brain fog and numbness, than men.
The research, published Tuesday in the Annals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, also found that women with long COVID experienced worse impacts on their quality of life and cognitive functioning than men.
