Woman wearing hoodie and face mask spared jail over bleach attack in city centre

Annie Woods has been handed a community orderAdam Everett Crown Court Reporter and Greta Simpson Senior Reporter08:42, 22 Jul 2026A woman has been spared jail after bleach was thrown into a man's face in a 'targeted attack' in Liverpool city centre.‌Video footage of the incident on April 29 this year, seen by the Liverpool Echo, showed a woman in an Adanola hoodie and a face mask shouting at a man in a brown tracksuit.‌She and another male, wearing shorts and a t-shirt, were seen to approach him and throw a liquid over him from plastic bottles.
