Woman injured after Saddleworth crash sees car come off country road and end up in ditch

NewsGreater Manchester NewsSaddleworth and LeesPolice and fire services were at the scene19:16, 27 Jul 2026A woman is in hospital this evening (July 27) after a car came off a country road east of Oldham.‌Greater Manchester Police and the North West Ambulance Service were at the scene on Ripponden Road near Saddleworth this afternoon after a car appeared to have come off the road and become wedged in a ditch.‌Eyewitnesses described a 'big response' with the road shut at the scene and police, paramedics and fire crews in attendance.
