Woman awarded $17M after hospital removes her healthy bladder instead of routine ovarian surgery

A U.S. jury has awarded US$17 million to a woman whose surgeon removed nearly all of her healthy bladder during what was meant to be a routine operation to take out an ovarian cyst.
