Woman attacked pub landlord after he refused to play her favourite song

Molly Pilkington, 30, burst into a violent fit of rage at the Travellers Rest in Cheshire on Sunday July 5, 2026.‌Peter Coates, who runs the Northwich pub, was bundled to the floor during the assault and struck a table.‌After getting back on his feet, Pilkington threw a beer glass at him before fellow customers stepped in. Mr Coates was left with injuries including a golf ball sized lump on his head.‌When interviewed by police, Pilkington, of Moulton, accepted there had been a 'heated argument' which resulted in her pushing Mr Coates into a table.Click here to get the b
