Woman, 27, who took her own life had stopped taking medication

NewsLatest Wales NewsCourtsClêr Ann Moran was found dead at her home17:11, 29 Aug 2026An inquest into the suicide of a 27-year-old woman has found her decision to stop taking her medication was likely a factor in her death.‌Clêr Ann Moran hanged herself on July 18 last year at her home in Edward Street, Treharris, Merthyr Tydfil county.‌She had been prescribed medication for some time to manage her depression and anxiety, Pontypridd Coroner's Court heard.‌Coroner Patricia Morgan said the post-mortem examination appeared to show Clêr had not been taking her medication in the lead-up to her passing.Ms Morgan said this "likely impacted upon her state of mind".‌The coroner recorded a conclusion of suicide.The court heard Ms Moran was born in Caerphilly.
