Woman, 22, plunged to her death in skydiving accident in Nottinghamshire

Paramedics were called to Langar Airfield in Nottinghamshire at 12.10pm on Sunday. The woman, aged 22, was found in a nearby field and pronounced dead at the scene. DI Rachel Mayfield, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: ‘This was a tragic incident, and we are working with partners to understand what happened. ‘As our investigations continue at the scene, our thoughts are with the woman’s family and everyone else who has been affected by this incident.’ Sign up for all of the latest stories Start your day informed with Metro's News Up
