Why Rockies aren't likely to trade Hunter Goodman to Yankees
The New York Yankees desperately need catching help. One of the worst teams in the Majors has a powerful offensive catcher who just earned his second consecutive All-Star selection. Seems like a match made in heaven. Except, more likely than not, the Colorado Rockies will not be trading Hunter Goodman when the deadline arrives in two weeks. "Why would the Rockies trade their 26-year-old All-Star catcher with three years of club control remaining? In all likelihood, they won't," MLB.com's Mark Feinsand wrote Monday.
