White Sox give No. 1 draft pick Roch Cholowsky record bonus: report

Roch Cholowsky, whom the White Sox took with the first overall pick in the MLB Draft on Saturday, passed his physical and received a record signing bonus, according to Jim Callis of MLB Pipeline. Cholowsky, a shortstop out of UCLA, signed for $10.35 million, well above the slot value of $11,350,600, Callis reported.
