It's set to be a special Bank Holiday weekend08:09, 29 Aug 2026Manchester’s Pride celebrations are returning to the city this bank holiday weekend, with a whole new identity and concept aimed at connecting the community together again.‌Manchester Village Pride will be held from Friday to Monday (August 28 to 31) and will feature the popular parade through the city centre, as well as live music, bar takeovers, family activities and the all-important candlelight vigil.‌This year’s event has been made possible thanks to the funding and support from many of the Gay Village venues, following the voluntary liquidation of the company behind Manchester Pride just months after last year’s event.‌Click here for the latest on Manchester's food & drink scene, gigs and more in our CityLife newsletterBu
