Water supply disruption in Benglauru on July 31
BWSSB stated there was a leak in the scour valve of the 3,000-mm pipeline of Cauvery Stage V. | Photo Credit: File photo The Bangalore Water Supply and Sewerage Board (BWSSB) has announced that water supply will be disrupted in several areas served by Cauvery Stage V on July 31 due to emergency repair works.BWSSB stated there was a leak in the scour valve of the 3,000-mm pipeline of Cauvery Stage V. To carry out repairs, the pumping station would be shut down from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. on July 31, it said. As a result, water supply to areas served by the pumping station will be affected.These areas include Dasarahalli, Rachenahalli, Gunjur, Kadubeesanahalli, Uttarahalli, Subramanyapura, Varthur, Kalkere, Panathur, Kalena Agrahara, Hemmigepura, Lingadheeranahalli, and surrounding areas.
