Walton Vale closed by police after man hit by bus

NewsLiverpool NewsWaltonEmergency services attended the scene21:54, 17 Jul 2026A section of Walton Vale was closed this evening after a man was hit by a bus. Emergency services were called to the major road at around 8.25pm this evening, Friday, July 17, following reports of a crash.‌The road was shut near The Raven Wetherspoons, with officers from Merseyside Police and crews from the North West Ambulance Service in attendance.‌Police said the man suffered minor injuries that did not require hospital treatment.
