WAEC dismisses claims of bias against private school BECE candidates

The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has firmly denied allegations that candidates from private schools are disadvantaged in the marking of the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE), insisting that its assessment procedures are transparent, objective and applied uniformly to every candidate.
