VISION SNAG OP-ED: A 10-year driving licence makes sense, a 10-year eye test gap does not

South Africa can reduce queues and administrative costs without losing an important opportunity to identify changes in drivers’ vision. The two objectives can coexist if the new system is designed with the right safeguards.
