Vikings’ J.J. McCarthy relationship with head coach Kevin O’Connell is reportedly horrible

The Minnesota Vikings made an early quarterback decision on Wednesday, announcing that Kyler Murray will be the QB1 in the early stages of the season, at the very least. It shouldn't come as much of a surprise that Murray won the job, considering how poorly J.J. McCarthy has played at times in his young career, but it definitely raises a lot of questions about why and how this got to where it is. McCarthy has done a decent job of being present and saying the right things to the media, but according to the latest report, his relationship with head coach Kevin O'Connell isn't good.
