August 02, 2026 11:38 AM ET An armed bystander traded gunfire with a rifle-wielding attacker outside an Idaho In-N-Out on Saturday as a rampage unfolded that left at least three people dead and seven hurt, according to the Associated Press (AP).Cellphone footage captured by witness Lane Koehn, 34, shows the citizen firing his handgun at the assailant during the chaos in Twin Falls. Koehn, stopped at a nearby traffic light, told the AP he watched a man carrying an AR-style rifle step out of the drive-thru before a second man opened fire on him with a pistol. The shooter squeezed off at least three or four rounds, Koehn said.Koehn also saw a wounded In-N-Out worker, bleeding from her chest, being pulled across the parking lot by a coworker. He, the coworker and the armed man stayed beside he
