Verkhovna Rada Confirms Ukraine Is Not Considering Women’s Mobilization

Ukraine’s parliament, the Verkhovna Rada, issued an official statement saying Ukraine is neither carrying out nor considering the mobilization of women, urging the public not to fall for manipulation. The statement came after former US presidential envoy Keith Kellogg argued on Monday, Aug. 24, that Ukraine should mobilize women into its Defense Forces because they can fight as effectively as men.
