Vannacci's National Future crosses 7% mark say polls
Support for general-turned-politician Roberto Vannacci's new far-right National Future (FnV) party has climbed to 7.1%, according to Youtrend's new average of recent opinion polls prepared for SkyTg24 and released on Monday, an increase of 0.6 of a percentage point on the previous set of data. Premier Giorgia Meloni's right-wing Brothers of Italy (FdI) is still top of the polls but it fell by 0.3 of a point to 26.7%, the lowest level since the start of the current parliamentary term in 2022. The centre-left Democratic Party (PD) is stable at 21,2%, while the other big opposition group, the 5-Star Movement (M5S), was up by 0.2 of a point to 13%.
