USDA warns recalled beef sold in Florida and Texas could cause ‘serious’ issues if eaten
Aventura, Fla.-based beef importer Corte Argentino USA is recalling 29,628 pounds of raw beef from Argentina after the shipments bypassed the third and final step of U.S. entry inspections.
The potentially contaminated beef was produced between May 15 and May 20 this year, with freeze by dates between September 15 and September 20. It has been distributed to retail and food service sites across Florida and Texas.
