US Women’s Soccer To Get Equal Split Of $16 Million World Cup Winnings After Years Of Crying About Equal Pay

United States Soccer has pulled in $16 million in winnings from FIFA courtesy of the men’s team getting to the 2026 World Cup round of 16, which saw the Americans suffer a 4-1 defeat against Belgium.Those winnings will be evenly split between the 26 men and 26 women on each U.S. roster. The 26 women receiving payment will be the ones featured on the 2027 roster for the Women’s World Cup if the United States qualifies.
