US Reinstates Sanctions On Iran After Multiple Ships Reportedly Attacked In Strait Of Hormuz

According to a report from Reuters and a letter from the U.S. Treasury Department’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), the license that temporarily lifted oil sanctions on Iran issued June 21 has been “revoked,” with the effective date listed as July 7, 2026.
