US military launches strikes on Iran in retaliation for attacks on US base in Jordan

The U.S. military began conducting airstrikes against Iran late Wednesday in retaliation for the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) attacking a U.S. base in Jordan the day before.  The U.S. forces began firing at 8 p.m., according to the U.S. Central Command.  The IRGC fired five missiles at U.S. forces in Jordan on Tuesday evening.…
