US embassy cancels visa appointments, citizen services on Aug. 16

MANILA, Philippines — The United States (US) Embassy in Manila has cancelled US citizen services and visa appointments scheduled for Tuesday, Aug. 18, because of the inclement weather. It made the announcement on Monday, Aug. 17, as it pointed to the impact of the intense rains brought by the southwest monsoon, or Habagat. “For US
