US Discussed New Sanctions on Moraes, FT Reports
The Financial Times reported on 16 August 2026 that the US government has discussed new sanctions on Brazilian Supreme Court justice Alexandre de Moraes. No decision has been reported, and an earlier round of sanctions was lifted in December 2025.
