Uruguay Beef Europe Sales at 10-Year High as EU Suspends Brazil

The EU confirmed it will suspend Brazilian beef, offal, fish and honey imports from 3 September 2026 over antimicrobial growth-promoter rules. Uruguay, whose beef exports to the EU hit a 10-year high of 52,000 tonnes in 2025, could gain ground.
