Many know the tale of how Wirral's Birkenhead Park inspired Central Park in Manhattan, and over 150 years later the Big Apple seems set to return the favour.‌Plans for the £15m Dock Branch Park in Birkenhead have been discussed for a number of years, with the project having originally meant to be completed in 2024.
