Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service (MFRS) crews were called to the hospital at 7.14pm on Tuesday evening (August 25) following reports of a gas leak.Three fire engines arrived at the scene in Liverpool city centre shortly afterwards. When the ECHO arrived, two fire engines were parked on Mount Vernon Road with fire crews gathered nearby.
