Uniforms given to students of govt. school in Royapettah

School uniforms were distributed to students of Chennai Higher Secondary School, Royapettah, as part of an initiative to support students’ education and promote girls’ empowerment with community participation. The programme was jointly organised by Nurturing Futures, Working Women’s Forum (WWF), Indian Cooperative Network for Women (ICNW), and India Literacy Project (ILP), said a press release.Addressing the gathering, Nandhini Azad, President, WWF (India) highlighted the role of the Forum in supporting women working in the informal sector and strengthening women and their families in their respective communities.
