Uncle of A66 victim was jailed for speeding in wrong lane on same road

Makai Saddington, 18, was killed with four others and two police officers after the Volkswagen Passat carrying the men on the wrong side of the A-road crashed into the police vehicle in Middlesbrough on Saturday. It has now emerged that Saddington’s uncle, Aaron Saddington, 23, was convicted in June for speeding on the wrong side of the A66, allegedly in a bid to escape from the police.
