UN Records June as Deadliest Month for Ukrainian Civilians Since April 2022

The United Nation’s (UN) Human Rights Monitoring Mission in Ukraine recorded 293 civilians killed and 1,990 injured in June 2026, the highest monthly toll since the early phases of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine in April 2022. Long-range weapons and frontline drone strikes drove most of the casualties.
