Umerov Appointed as Head of Ukraine's Foreign Intelligence in Security Reshuffle

Rustem Umerov, the former defense minister and Secretary of Ukraine’s National Security and Defense Council (RNBO), has been appointed the head of Ukraine’s Foreign Intelligence Service (SZRU), while former Interior Minister Ihor Klymenko was tapped to take his place at the RNBO as part of the government reshuffle that started in July.
