Ukrainian Refugees Leave Poland Amid Rising Tensions
Ukrainian refugees are increasingly leaving Poland for other European nations, primarily Germany and the Czech Republic, according to updated Eurostat data. The number of Ukrainians with temporary protection in Poland fell by 14,400 over June and July to approximately 953,000, while Germany’s total reached nearly 1.29 million. The migration coincides with a 30% year-over-year increase in hate crimes against Ukrainians in Poland during the first half of 2026.
