Ukraine's Economy Grows 0.6% in Q2 2026, Trails NBU's Estimate

Ukraine's economy grew 0.6% year-on-year in the second quarter of 2026, a flash estimate from the State Statistics Service showed, falling short of the National Bank's 0.8% calculation. The NBU said expanded budget stimulus and an improving energy grid drove the rebound, but intensified Russian strikes on ports and business infrastructure limited faster growth.
