Ukraine Reburies OUN Founder Yevhen Konovalets at Military Cemetery
The remains of Colonel Yevhen Konovalets, first head of the Organization of Ukrainian Nationalists (OUN) and an officer of the Ukrainian People’s Republic Army, were reburied at Ukraine’s National Military Memorial Cemetery on Tuesday, Aug. 18, with President Volodymyr Zelensky attending. Konovalets was exhumed from Rotterdam’s Crooswijk cemetery on Aug. 11 and returned to Ukraine two days later.
