Ukraine Condemns Russian Move to Erase Borders With Occupied Areas

The Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs responded to Russian plans to abolish border control zones between Russian regions and occupied Ukrainian territories. The ministry stated that relocating checkpoints does not alter internationally recognized borders. Kyiv characterized the initiative as a political attempt to create the illusion that the seized territories are fully integrated into Russia.
