Two youths killed in road accident in Andhra Pradesh’s Nagari

Two factory workers died after their motorcycle crashed into a road divider at the SC Colony junction in Nagari town, Chittoor district, in the early hours of Tuesday (August 4, 2026).The deceased were identified as Murugan (21) and Raghubala (19), both residents of Nagari and employed at a private factory in Yerpedu, Tirupati district.According to the police, the duo was returning home after their night shift when the rider lost control of the motorcycle. Murugan died at the scene, while Raghubala sustained severe injuries. Raghubala, who was rushed to the Government Hospital in Nagari, later succumbed to his injuries.Police shifted the bodies for postmortem and registered a case. Published - August 04, 2026 06:40 pm IST
