Two roads closed after crash critically injures pedestrian in Hokitika

A person has been critically injured in a crash between a pedestrian and a car in Hokitika.Police were called to the intersection of Fitzherbert and Park streets shortly before 9am on Friday.The person has been taken to Greymouth Hospital.Fitzherbert Street is closed between Tudor and Hampden Streets but there is a detour.Police are requesting motorists avoid the area.
