Two police officers report of interrogation in China
By Chen Yu-fu, Chung Li-hua and Jake Chung / Staff reporters, with staff writer Add TT as Preferred Source Chinese national security personnel detained and interrogated two Taiwanese police officers about Taiwan’s critical infrastructure during a trip to China’s Fujian Province last month, the Mainland Affairs Council (MAC) said yesterday. The two were forcibly relocated from their lodgings to an unknown location by Chinese personnel during their travels and questioned about Taiwan’s organizational structure regarding infrastructure development and other information due to their affiliation with certain unnamed units, MAC spokesman Liang Wen-chieh (梁文傑) said.The Chinese personnel also warned the two not to report the incident after their return to Taiwan, Liang said.
