New vaping rules will come into play in October15:10, 15 Jul 2026Two major new UK law changes are set to come into force from October this year, with these having significant impacts on the purchase of vapes and vaping products.In an attempt to crackdown on the sale of vapes to young people, the Government has said it will be making a number of key law changes including introducing a Vaping Products Duty (VPD). Under the Tobacco and Vapes Act, the Government will also be banning the sale of vapes through vending machines and the free distribution of vapes.The VPD was first announced in the 2024 Spring Budget, before being confirmed in the Autumn 2024 Budget. It will come into force from October 1 and will be set at £2.20 per 10ml of vaping liquid.Click here to get the biggest stories st
