Two die in separate accidents in Chikkamagaluru

Two persons were killed in separate road accidents reported in Chikkamagaluru district on Sunday (July 26) night.In the first incident, Devendra Naik, 72, of Shanuvalli village in Koppa taluk, sustained grievous injuries after he was knocked down by a motorcycle while walking home at around 8 p.m. He was initially admitted to the government hospital in Koppa and later shifted to a hospital in Shivamogga, where he succumbed to his injuries on Monday (July 27).He is survived by his wife and two daughters. His nephew, S.K. Manjunath, has lodged a complaint with the Koppa police, alleging that Pradeep, who was riding the motorcycle, was responsible for the accident.In the second incident, C.H.
