Two charged after man attacked at Kensington McDonald's

At around 9.15pm on Sunday, August 16, officers were called to the McDonald's branch after reports a man in his 20s had been assaulted.‌The man, who suffered injuries to his head and body, was taken to hospital for assessment. Following enquiries, two people were arrested and taken to a police station for questioning. Valeri Aleksiev, 30, of Windsor Road, Tuebrook, has been charged with Section 18 wounding with intent.‌A 15-year old boy from Liverpool was charged with attempted Section 18 wounding and possessing an offensive weapon (baseball bat) in a public place.
